Airport Pickup

Temporary Housing

Stay with an American host family for up to 4 days while you make your campus housing arrangements. Enjoy a home setting and warm caring friends. This can significantly help you in adjusting to living in a new culture. Breakfast and transportation from your host home to and from campus will be provided each day. For other meals, you may make arrangements with the family according to your schedule and theirs. There is no charge for this service. We regret that we do not offer an apartment-locating service. Please contact the Office of International Education at the University for this service.

To Participate

Provide the requested information on the on-line form and email to IFI. If you do not yet know your flight information but would like to participate, please send the form with the information you do have. Then send the rest of the information as soon as it is available. There is no cost to participate.

Culture Tips 

It is no trouble for our American volunteers to meet you at the airport and to host you. However, it will be an inconvenience to your host if they arrive to meet you and find that you have made other arrangements and do not need their assistance. Kindly let us know if you decide to make other arrangements for your arrival and housing.
